Individual Therapy

Access your Wisdom, Courage, and Strenghts

It's easy to get "stuck" or off track when we let our harsh inner critic, fear, self-doubt, other's expectations, or difficult life experiences take control.

What if you took the control back and redirected your attention on creating your best life?

I want to help you get back in the driver's seat and access your wisdom, courage, and strengths.

I have obtained the highest level of training in order to best help you heal and gain the skills needed to shift mental states and accomplish your goals.

I draw from mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, coaching, and more, to bring out your best.

Whether you are struggling with dating or relationship challenges, anxiety, unhappiness, loneliness, or difficult family relationships, I can help.  Please check out the items under the individual therapy tab above for more information.

Can therapy help me?

Therapy is an opportunity to move forward into your best self. People come to therapy for many different reasons, from deep-rooted trauma caused by childhood neglect or abuse to a very practical desire to learn coping skills that will reduce stress, increase productivity, and generate a greater sense of satisfaction and happiness.

If you are dealing with complex issues such as trauma, anxiety, or depression, or if you are having trouble navigating the dating world or relationships, therapy can help you gain insight into yourself and others. If you are ready to create change in your life, therapy is for you.

Therapy is a tool that anyone can use to improve their overall wellbeing.

One of the many benefits to therapy is the healthy connection and support it provides. Exercise, medication, and other practices that improve mental health may lack the simple but powerful impact of connection with another person.  The therapeutic relationship can lead you to find your own empowerment and move forward in life with greater confidence and self-esteem.

How long do I have to be in therapy?

You are unique and you deserve a custom treatment plan. The length of time spent in therapy is different for everyone. There are some issues that can be treated in a short amount of time while others benefit from a longer span of support and connection.

During the initial session, we will discuss what outcome you are looking for and then move forward with an action plan specific to your needs and desires. Some of my clients begin therapy for a short period of time, find it beneficial, and choose to continue to work on additional issues.
